Over the last couple months I've realized that I have nothing to wear. Most women make that statement when nothing in you closet matches your personality, fits or meets your needs. My closet hits on all accounts. My current wardrobe is old and frumpy, ill fitting and filled with business casual pieces where my new job has a jean friendly dress code. I've been on a mission on Pinterest to find what I need to bring my style up to speed.
Here's my break down on the staples that you should have at your disposal to make some great essential outfits:
- Sweater(s)
- Blazer(s)
- Cardigan(s)
- Shirts (Combo of T-Shirt(s), Tank(s) and Button Up Shirt(s)
- Skirt(s)
- Jeans and Shorts
- Dress Pants
- LBD (Little Black (or Blue) Dress)
- Print Dress(es)
- Shoes (Combo of Tennis Shoes/Sneakers, Boots, Flats/Sandals and Heels)
- Bathing Suit
- Accessories
- Jacket
These items caught my eye for each of the categories. For a full list of items (including some cute pieces that didn't make this post) check out my Pinterest style board: http://www.pinterest.com/jvalley0714/i-need-more-style/
